Five reasons
to go up.

Drone work isn't just a wide shot from the sky. It's a way to reveal scale, context and craft that ground cameras simply can't reach. Here's the work we're most often booked for.

Aerial Videography

Cinematic drone footage for brand films, property films and campaign videos. 4K delivery, smooth cinematic moves, and edited to sit inside your existing edit or as a standalone film.

Aerial Photography

High-resolution aerial stills for property listings, marketing collateral, and PR. RAW files delivered alongside edited hero shots, ready for print and web.

Property Drone

Aerial shots for estate agents, holiday lets, land agents and developers. Full context shots that show the plot, boundary, and setting - the stuff ground photos can't tell.

Event Coverage

Aerial coverage for launches, festivals, motorsport and hospitality openings. Sizzle reels for social, plus stills for press and marketing.

Roof & Site Inspection

Non-invasive aerial inspections for roofs, chimneys, industrial sites and hard-to-reach structures. High-res imagery delivered as a full report.

Legal.
Insured. Planned.

We won't quote a job we can't legally and safely fly. Every flight is planned around current CAA airspace restrictions, and we handle the landowner permissions, NOTAM filings and safety briefings as standard.

CAA Operational Authorisation

We hold the required CAA authorisations for commercial drone work in the UK, kept current with all regulation updates.

£5m Public Liability

Full commercial drone insurance with £5 million public liability cover. Certificate provided on request before every commercial flight.

Airspace Planning

Every flight is checked against current NOTAMs, restricted airspace, and TDAs. Landowner permissions and site risk assessments handled by us.

Weather & Contingency

All flights are weather-dependent for safety. Rescheduling is included in every booking - we don't fly unsafely to hit a deadline.

Are you CAA-licensed for drone work?

Yes - we hold the necessary CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) operational authorisations for commercial drone work, and we carry full public liability insurance up to £5 million.

We fly across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire for property films, aerial event coverage, landscape work, and roof/structural inspections. All flights are planned around current airspace restrictions, and we handle the landowner permissions, NOTAM filings, and safety briefings as standard. We'll never quote a job we can't legally and safely fly.

Where in the UK does PKING MEDIA work?

We're based in Ipswich, Suffolk, and work primarily across the East of England - Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire. We also travel UK-wide for the right brief.

There's no extra travel charge inside a 30 mile drive from Ipswich. For London or further afield, travel and accommodation are quoted at-cost with no markup. About 70% of our projects are within an hour of Ipswich, which is exactly the local focus we set out with.

How long does a video project take from brief to delivery?

Most projects take 3-6 weeks from initial brief to final delivery. A simple social-media reel can turn around in 7-10 days; a full brand film with multiple shoot days, on-screen interviews, and licensed music typically runs 5-8 weeks.

We schedule the shoot within 2-3 weeks of brief sign-off, and editing usually takes 2-3 weeks depending on length and complexity. Urgent turnarounds are possible - some of our best work has been week-long sprints for product launches.

What happens after I book a discovery call?

The discovery call is a 30-minute Zoom or in-person conversation with Perran - no pitch deck, no sales pressure.

We'll talk through what you're trying to achieve, who the work is for, and the practical constraints around timeline and budget. Within 48 hours you'll get a written proposal covering the recommended approach, deliverables, timeline, and a fixed all-in price.

If it's a fit, we book the shoot. If it's not, we'll point you toward someone who is - no hard feelings, no follow-up emails.

Got a site that needs aerial coverage? A 30-minute call covers the location, airspace and price.
